History and things to know

An explanation by a Takasaki city museum introduces the activities of the oshi (shrine guides) and the Haruna-kō (pilgrimage associations) who spread the Haruna faith, and the history from the blending of kami and buddhas to the present shrine. Today the shrine enshrines Homusubi no Kami and Haniyamahime no Kami.
