History and things to know
According to temple tradition, in the Bun'ei era a son of Ebara Yoshimune, lord of this land, became a disciple of Nichirō Shōnin, taking the name Rōkei Shōnin, and opened a temple on the site of the family residence. Its halls were lost in the air raids of May of Shōwa 20, but the main hall was rebuilt by its parishioners and followers in Shōwa 41.
