Enshrined kami: Omodaru no Kami
History and things to know
According to the shrine's guide, it was originally "Dairokuten-sha", the tutelary shrine of the former Kuwagawa village, and it came to enshrine Omodaru no Kami at the time of the Meiji separation of kami and buddhas. The year of its founding is unknown; Tōzen-ji, which served as its bettō, is said to have lost the old records in a fire in the Bunkyū era. The Fujizuka in the grounds was built in Shōwa 4 by a local kō (devotional association).
