History and things to know
According to the official guide, it is said to have been founded in the Eiroku era (1558–1570). It was originally at Kisone, Yashio, but in Shōwa 59 it moved to its present site, cooperating with the improvement works on the Naka River, and the present main hall was built that year. The temple gate was moved from the former grounds and, according to the inscription on its plaque, was built in Kansei 11 (1799).
