History and things to know
According to shrine tradition, it is said to have begun in Manju 2 (1026) when a divided spirit was received from Taga Taisha in Ōmi, and in Kanbun 2 (1662) it moved to its present site. After the shrine buildings burned in Shōwa 4, shrine buildings in the shinmei-zukuri style were built in Shōwa 16, and in Reiwa 6 Ebisu no Ōkami was received from Nishinomiya Jinja.
