History and things to know
Oyama Jinja consists of three shrines, and the Maetate Shadan is located at Iwakuraji, close to the plain. It is said that the shrine was set up at the foot of the mountain so that rites could continue even in winter, when worship at the summit is difficult.
Introduced by this site, based on materials from the shrine or temple and public bodies.
