History and things to know

According to the official guide, it is said to be a new temple opened by the present chief priest as its founder. The principal image, a standing Amida Nyorai, was made on commission by a Buddhist sculpture workshop in Kyoto and was received in July Heisei 15. The guide states that the kūden (shrine for the image) and the main hall are to be built in the future.
