History and things to know

According to the official guide, it is a temple founded with the priest 天永源曉, who died in the first month of Tenshō 4, as its founding priest. The Toshiko Jizō-son in its grounds has drawn faith as the child-protecting Jizō of Magome, and a Jizō grand festival is held on the last Sunday of May every year.
